Yesterday, Hlynur, an employee of Ólafsvallar, came to distribute lime for us. The lime is intended to lower the acidity of the soil, which has a great and good effect on the growth and life of the plants. It also makes it easier for the plants to absorb nutrients from the soil. All this improves the health and products of the cows. 

Now we're just waiting with crossed fingers, depending on what happens next winter ........ !!! ??

It can be added that lower acidity has a good effect on the microbial flora of the soil, which in turn benefits the vegetation.

Hlynur spread over 70 tons of lime and was quick to do so ...... !!!!
