Today two young Chinese ladies visited us and got to know a little about the farming methods in Káranes. Audrey and Yiqun went to the barn and greeted the cat, calves, heifers and cows. They watched as the milk truck driver emptied the farms milk tank and then got to taste raw milk as it comes from the cow before it has been processed. Audrey works to prepare the marketing of Ísey Skyr to the Chinese market and is based in Hong Kong. Yiqun works in this country in matters related to tourism. She has an Instagram account, where she gave a detailed account of her visit to Káranes in Iceland.
